Prenatal Lactation Consultations
A consultation before baby arrives will address your breastfeeding concerns and together you and Angela will design a best practice plan for your breastfeeding journey. This plan is individualized based on your history, anatomy and goals for breastfeeding.
Postnatal Lactation consultations
Angela will assess your baby's oral anatomy, your breast anatomy, observe your baby's latch and feeding. She will assist with latch, positioning, holds, and together you will design a plan for going forward. Angela follow up after the consultation by phone.
$100 in-person at Guiding Star -call or email to set up appt ,or tele-health virtual appointments available anytime for $75.

Insurance Coverage for Consultations
Basking Babies will not bill insurance on your behalf, but will try to provide all the necessary paperwork you need to submit for reimbursement. Many insurance companies cover lactation care, but we cannot guarantee our services will be covered by your company. Some families also choose to use funds from their pre-tax medical spending accounts to cover lactation services. We suggest you check with your plan/provider to see what options you may have
