Purpose: This conference is designed to provide the most current strategies for health care providers assisting breastfeeding mothers and babies.
Intended Audience: Healthcare and community professionals (doctors, midwives, nurses, lactation consultants, dietitians, dentists, doulas, peer counselors, etc.) who assist mothers and babies with breastfeeding. Schedule: Registration starts at 8:15 a.m. The Welcome starts at 8:55 a.m. There will be two short breaks and a lunch break. Detailed schedule below. |

Continuing Education:
Nurses will be awarded 6.25 contact hours from MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, Iowa Board of Nursing Provider #17. Lactation consultants can earn 6 L- CERPs as allocated by the IBLCE, Verification Number C1991153. 6.0 contact hours will be granted for RD/RDN/LD. Certificate of completion will be given to all attendees. Full attendance is required; no partial credit will be given.

Fee: Early bird registration fee (before October 7th) is $95 per person which includes lunch and snacks. Payment and registration form must be received before October 7th to receive the early bird rate. The registration fee increases to $110 for any registrations and payments received on or after October 7th. No refunds will be given.
